Warranty
Your consumer guarantee rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in this warranty, or in any Aquaro packaging, documentation or communication, limits or excludes these rights.
Manufacturer warranty
In addition to your consumer guarantee rights, Aquaro tapware and bathroom hardware is covered by our supplier’s manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, for residential and commercial use, from the original date of purchase:
- 5 years on casting and porosity
- 5 years on cartridges and valves
- 12 months on washers and O-rings
- 12 months on surface finish (Chrome, Matte Black, Brushed Gold, Brushed Nickel, Gunmetal, Antique Brass)
Products must be installed by a qualified, licensed tradesperson in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives and contact us straight away about any damage or defect.
What’s not covered
This warranty doesn’t cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by accident, misuse, or installation other than by a qualified, licensed tradesperson following the manufacturer’s instructions
- Damage from water quality issues, such as hard water scale, a corrosive water supply, or water pressure outside the product’s rated range
- Cleaning with abrasive or chemical cleaning products not recommended for the finish
- Unauthorised alterations or repairs
- Removal and reinstallation costs, replacement labour costs, and other resulting or consequential costs
Making a warranty claim
Get in touch with your order number or proof of purchase, a description of the issue, and photos where possible. We’ll assess the claim with our supplier and, where it’s covered, arrange a repair or replacement. If the product needs to be inspected in person, we’ll let you know before you send anything back or arrange a plumber.
